Communication Courses

UIC’s Department of Communication offers individual, stand-alone courses that you can take for academic credit without having to be enrolled in a degree program.

A communication course is a smart choice if you are seeking continuing education credits, career advancement, are preparing for entry into a degree program, or if you must meet requirements to maintain an existing professional credential. Students interested in social media, journalism, public relations, online marketing, media and society, or a career in a relevant field should consider registering.
