Although you do not have to be a participant in the certificate program to take this course, students interested in applying it towards the Certificate in Assistive Technology are encouraged to visit the department’s website. Description:1 This is a fully online course that focuses on the designs and components of manual wheelchairs for children and adults with physical disabilities. Performance adjustments, transportation standards and securement systems, funding and applicable research are also covered.
Prerequisites: Course offered to Graduate ONLY
